FAQ's

• What happens after I book my appointment? +
  Once you book, you'll receive an email confirming your appointment time and a link to join your secure video consultation, just click the link at the time of your appointment.
• Who will I speak to? +
  You'll meet a GMC-registered clinician who specialises in medical cannabis. They're friendly, experienced, and used to speaking with patients who are new to this treatment. Their years of practice ensure they are empathetic to your condition and experienced in finding the medication that will relieve your symptoms whilst balancing any side effects around your day.
• What will the clinician ask me? +
  They'll talk through:

  • Your symptoms
  • What treatments you've already tried
  • How your condition affects your daily life
  • What you are looking to achieve from the medication
  • What a typical day for you managing your symptoms looks like

  It's a relaxed, judgement-free conversation — not a test.
• Do I have to decide anything during the appointment? +
  No. The assessment is simply to understand whether medical cannabis is appropriate for you and agree suitable dosages with expected benefits. You're not committing to treatment, and there's no pressure to continue if you're unsure.
• Will I definitely get a prescription? +
  Not always — prescriptions are only issued when clinically appropriate. If the clinician decides cannabis isn't suitable for you, you won't be prescribed and you won't be pushed into anything. You will receive a full refund on your consultation charge.
• Is the appointment confidential? Will you tell my GP or the NHS? +
  Your consultation is private, secure, and confidential. Your information is handled in line with UK medical standards. It is your choice if you wish to share the information from your consultation with your GP.
• How long does the appointment last? +
  Most assessments take 15–20 minutes.
• What happens if I'm eligible for treatment? +
  If medical cannabis is appropriate, the clinician will:

  • Explain your treatment options
  • Discuss dosing and product types
  • Answer any questions
  • Arrange your prescription

  Your medication is then delivered discreetly to your home.
• How soon will I receive my medication if I'm prescribed? +
  Most patients receive their medication within a few days of the prescription being issued. Delivery is in discreet packaging and tracked.
• Is the medication expensive? +
  Medication starts from around £50 per month though price is taken into account during your consultation and discussed with you.
• What is the subscription option? +
  The subscription gives you four consultations after your initial consultation along with delivery and prescription charges included. Perfect to discuss symptom relief and adjust medication to maximise results.
• Do I need further consultations once I have started my medication? +
  It is recommended that you have a further consultation in month 3 to discuss your medication and maximise benefits however this is your choice and you can request a further consultation at any point. If you are happy with your medication, you can request this via a form sent to you where you can be re-prescribed each month if you don't require a change.
